A Milestone for the Urbane Mitte
After more than twelve years of planning, the first development project in the Urbane Mitte zoning plan area in Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is one decisive step closer to becoming a reality: At the jury session for the design competition for the “Urbane Mitte Süd” on August 20, 2026, KSP Engel’s design was selected as the winner for the first urban development block in the area—the South Construction Site.
