BÜRO DR. VOGEL GMBH develops real estate strategy for Berlin Brandenburg Airport together with ProStadt GmbH

The BÜRO DR. VOGEL GMBH has been commissioned to develop a real estate strategy for the Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) for its properties on the land side of the future BER Airport. "We are pleased to be able to actively participate in the design of a new future business location and real estate submarket in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan area," said Hauke Fischbeck, Managing Director of BÜRO DR. VOGEL GMBH.

The environment of airports, the Airport Cities, holds great real estate economic potential. This is demonstrated by examples such as Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, in whose surroundings a flourishing business location and a new piece of the city have developed. The "BER 2040 Master Plan" is already an infrastructural model that outlines the real estate development opportunities around the airport and its potential.

The aim of the strategy is to create a sustainable overall concept for the development of all landside quarters defined as part of the master planning. A total of around 240 hectares is available. The real estate strategy is intended to lay the foundation for an attractive location and a further growth engine for Berlin and Brandenburg.

First results are expected in the 1st quarter of 2019.
